Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By using any services provided by Sentinel Alpha ("we", "us", "our"), including the Caprica Agent platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. Services
Sentinel Alpha provides Caprica Agent, a privacy-first document assistant platform. Our services are offered in the following tiers:
- Pilot — Available on request. A scoped evaluation period to assess fit with your workflow. Duration, scope, and user limit are defined per engagement.
- Pro — Self-hosted by the customer. Customer provides their own LLM API key. EUR 99/month.
- Premium — Hosted by Sentinel Alpha on our infrastructure. LLM API provided by us. EUR 249/month.
- Enterprise — Custom deployment, SLA, SSO, dedicated support. Contact us for pricing.
3. Accounts & Access
Access to Caprica Agent is controlled via authentication tokens. You are responsible for keeping your access tokens confidential. Do not share admin tokens with unauthorized persons. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. License & Usage
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Caprica Agent for the duration of your active subscription. You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Docker image.
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the software without written consent.
- Remove or alter license keys, branding, or copyright notices.
- Use the platform for purposes prohibited by our Acceptable Use Policy.
5. Data Ownership
Your documents remain yours. You retain all intellectual property rights to the documents you upload. We do not claim ownership of your content.
- Pro (self-hosted): Your data stays entirely on your infrastructure. We have no access.
- Premium (our infrastructure): Your documents are stored on our managed servers. We act as a data processor under the terms of our Data Processing Agreement. We may access your data only for: (a) technical support when explicitly requested by you, (b) server maintenance and security updates, or (c) investigating a security incident. 6. AI-Generated Output
Caprica Agent generates responses using artificial intelligence based on your uploaded documents. AI-generated output:
- Is not professional advice (legal, financial, medical, or otherwise).
- May contain inaccuracies or hallucinations — always verify before acting.
- Should be reviewed by qualified personnel before use in critical decisions.
7. Privacy & PII
Caprica Agent includes a privacy firewall that detects and redacts personally identifiable information (PII) before sending text fragments to the configured LLM provider. However:
- PII detection is based on pattern matching and may not catch all sensitive data.
- You are responsible for reviewing which documents you upload.
- For Premium tier: sanitized text fragments are sent to the configured LLM provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google) for processing.

8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or reputation.
- We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated output.
- We are not liable for data loss due to hardware failure, unless covered by an Enterprise SLA.
9. Availability & Support
- Pro & Premium: Best-effort support via email (info@sentinelalpha.tech). No uptime guarantee.
- Enterprise: Dedicated support with SLA (uptime, response time) as agreed in the service contract.
10. Payment & Cancellation
- Subscriptions are billed monthly. Payment is due within 14 days of invoice.
- You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- No refunds for partial months.
- We reserve the right to suspend access for non-payment after 30 days.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately if you violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy. Upon termination:
- Pro: Your local data is unaffected.
- Premium: We will provide a 30-day window to export your data before deletion.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
